We follow guidelines from Fogra, Heidelberg, Fefco, ISO, Idealliance, and FTA. This helps us make high quality files for Offset and Flexo printing. Our process involves collaboration with both the employer and the printing house, ensuring that we gather and apply key information to the final file. There are six main parts to this process, and each plays a crucial role in enhancing print quality and lowering costs.

Six Executive Steps

1. Preflight Process

Preflight is an important step that helps us make sure all the graphics files we need for printing are in great shape. We follow guidelines set by ISO and trusted organizations like FOGRA and IDEAlliance Inc. By following these standards, we can achieve bright and accurate colors. This process not only helps us maintain high quality but also reduces waste and ink usage during production. For commercial prints, we carefully handle every part of color separation, trapping, overprinting, and color correction to create a clean and polished file.

2. Digital Mockup

Mockup is the prototype and simulated design in 3D and is created based on the real structure. This sample is digital. It has various uses in logistics and palletizing, carton arrangement, and compliance with the final print. Simulation is effective when using professional packaging software for 3D modeling. So, we use Esko and IC3D. We also carefully implement postpress items such as hot foil, UV area, embossing and folding on the digital model. By catching errors before production, we can make all corrections and avoid incurring extra costs.

3. Color Management

It's great to focus on creating color profiles and calibration structures that work seamlessly from design to printing! By using calibration devices, we can develop an integrated system tailored to the specific material and printing device. We will look at various factors to better understand how ink affects printed materials. With this information, we can prepare a special color profile. If the printing house provides a color profile, we can ensure that the color settings and the file align perfectly with that profile. This way, we can achieve the best results together!

4. Technical Handbook

This technical manual is designed to support all your printing needs! Inside, you'll find detailed technical information that you can easily share with the printing house and the production manager. We’ve included everything you need, such as color codes, gray balance bar, ink formula guidance, product structure dimensions, and important tips for successful printing. This booklet serves as a helpful resource for quality control and communication with the printing house. It also greatly assists in addressing the challenge of having fewer printing supervisors.

5. Logistics Process

We can make logistics smoother with software like Esko CapePack. This tool helps us figure out how to arrange items in the base carton, how many boxes fit on a pallet, and how to pack the truck efficiently. By creating a helpful technical report, we can calculate the best way to load any packaging into the truck or on the pallet system. This approach helps us determine the number of pallets needed, the right sizes for base cartons, and even the dimensions of the truck. All these steps work together to lower our overall costs while improving our logistics.

6. Print Production

The final stage is the seamless transition from perfected files to finished goods. We provide rigorous, on-site print supervision and quality control throughout the entire production run. This critical oversight ensures your color management is faithfully translated from the digital mockup. We meticulously control all post-press processes, including precise die-cutting and box assembly. This comprehensive control, guarantees exceptional output, absolute brand consistency, and the lowest possible defect rate, protecting your investment.
