Gradient Minimum Dot and Flexo Printing Failure

What issue does the Minimum Dot in Gradients cause in Flexo printing, and what is the solution?

The Minimum Dot refers to the smallest Halftone dots located at the light end of Gradients. In Flexo printing, these minute dots may "vanish" during the printing process due to the nature of the photopolymer plate. This defect results in a failure to smoothly fade the color spectrum, creating a sharp line or print break where the tone should have disappeared seamlessly.

To solve this challenge, designers and Prepress specialists must ensure the gradients do not reach zero coverage and that the dots maintain a minimum amount of color coverage. This specialized calibration requires precise control over color profiles and the use of Dot Gain compensation techniques to ensure the smooth, continuous color transition at the light edge
