Conventional adhesives may contain volatile chemical compounds that can migrate into the food product, potentially affecting its safety or quality. This chemical migration risk must be eliminated to protect both the consumer and the brand.

The adhesive used must strictly comply with Food Safety Standards, such as FDA standards or EU regulations, and be certified as migration-safe. As a consultant, I recommend always obtaining the food compatibility certificate for the adhesive from the supplier and documenting it in the production records to uphold legal and product health responsibilities.
